Happy Holidays from the Mist!

Just taking time out from family and friends to wish my readers a wonderful holiday season! Here's to health, luck and prosperity in 2010....lord knows we all can use it in light of the economic and pandemic year we've had.

Our "Keep Cookbook" is now available at The Mist cafepress shop. All proceeds from the sale of this wonderful book goes to help the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a cause that hits close to home for me. The book compiles recipes gathered from the forum members at The Keep and are their best-loved and tried-and-true recipes, including appetizers, soups, sauces, breakfast items, entrees, pasta, breads, desserts and of course, drinks and libations! Please help this worthy cause and fill your plates with warm goodness by purchasing this cookbook. And while you're there, be sure to check out some of the other great stuff we've got up for your perusal enjoyment!

"The Awakening" is about 2 months away from having its first draft completed. Then the fun starts with the re-read and re-write. This book promises some hot reading...Venom is sexy and dominating; Mally is his perfect foil. Together they learn about each other and grow. The first Chapter can be found at The Keep, along with a bunch of teasers that are sure to get your interest up and humming.

Recipes for a Good Cause

I've got some really wonderful members that frequent my message board, "The Keep." (See link on the sidebar.) And if there's one thing we absolutely all agree on is that FOOD is one of life's many pleasures.

We have a thread called "The Kitchen" and within, our members have posted some yummilicious recipes! In the spirit of giving, we have decided to collate our recipes into "The Keep Cookbook" which will be sold through the Keep Shop in December. All proceeds will go to a charity that will be agreed on sometime within the next month or so.

In the meantime, we are asking for recipe donations to make the Cookbook not only for a good cause, but also good to enjoy! So, if you're not a member of The Keep, please join us! We are a wild and creative bunch, and be sure to bring your sense of humor!

If you would like to donate a recipe and prefer not to join the zaniness of The Keep, please post a recipe here and we'll be sure to include it. I will post when the book has been collated and is ready for sale.
